Cartney Jazz is available to perform at a wide range of private and public events nationwide.
 
 
Weddings
 
Cartney Jazz can perform and entertain at the different stages of the marriage ceremony and celebration, and we take pride in our professionalism and our high standards or etiquette and presentation. Our standard attire is evening dress for receptions and either evening dress or formal wear for ceremonies.

A duo of singer with either guitar or piano accompaniment can perform one or two specially chosen songs from Jane Cartney’s wide repertoire of jazz, classical and traditional songs during the ceremony. (please visit the repertoire page on janecartney.com for a detailed list). Alternatively, a duo of piano and guitar or double bass can perform during the ceremony. Again a duo or trio can entertain during canapés and the wedding breakfast itself.

For wedding receptions, the Cartney Jazz quartet, consisting of vocalist, piano, double bass and drums, perform a wide range of specially tailored songs and instrumental numbers chosen from our wide repertoire. This can include gentle numbers for subtle background entertainment, more up-tempo swing, ballads, blues and Latin numbers to create a party atmosphere and for dancing, and favourite ballads to entertain seated audiences, dinner parties and intimate dancing. By prior arrangement, we can include special requests for the entrance of the bride and groom, and for the first dance. The quartet can be augmented by the addition of guitarist and/or saxophone. The quintet and sextet are particularly suitable for larger gatherings.

Anniversaries Private Parties Functions
 
As for weddings, Cartney Jazz can appear as duo, trio, quartet, quintet or sextet, depending on the needs of the party organizers. Again, special requests can be included in the programme by prior arrangement.
 
 
Availability Bookings Cost

Bookings are usually made at about six months in advance of the event, although shorter notice bookings are always considered and accommodated if possible.

Costs vary and are determined by the day of the week, the length of time you require Cartney Jazz to perform together with the line-up most suitable for your event, and the location of the event. A provisional quotation will be given following your initial enquiry. Should you wish to proceed, this will be followed up by a detailed quotation based on your specific requirements. When a booking is received a standard contract for the engagement of Cartney Jazz will be issued to the engager. When the signed contract is received, together with a deposit of 25% of the agreed price, the booking will be confirmed.
